Poems That Aren't Excellent

This page originally was gonna be writing with body parts other than fingers but as I started my poem I got more and more into it until I finally just started typing, Tap Tap Tap. And now ladies and gentlmen, boys and girls, frogs and toads I present to you my very first poem:

Tap Tap Tap

Tap Tap Tap

Goes my key board

Tap Tap Tap

I type

My mind swirling

Tap Tap Tap

I pause

Think

Tap Tap Tap

Look around

Searching for ideas

Tap Tap Tap

It hits me

I start typing

Tap Tap Tap

I sit back

Happy

I gotta be honest I quite liked writing that and now a poem about a hat. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, frogs and toads, my poem about a hat:

The Lonely Hat

lonely the hat sits

so innocent

in the rain

all sopping wet

with no head to rest upon

no head to shelter

lonely the hat sits

And on a brighter note here is a poem about a blue monkey so... ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, frogs and toads my poem about a blue monkey:

BLUE

I have a pet monkey

He is really funky

He is blue

And you should be too

Blue is cool

Don't be a fool

And paint yourself blue!

I do admit my poems aren't very good but they are fun to write.
