Earth Hour

Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I sorta have writers block. I was thinking about Earth Hour... Are people really doing this to help the Earth? And, Is it really, actually helping? Well, the whole idea is to help the Earth so no matter what your personal motivations are, your efforts are helping the Earth. At first, the whole point of this was not to use electricity for an hour. Now people are only turning off the lights. And even that they're not doing to well, I looked out the window before Earth Hour and during and saw no difference. I doubt many people completely turned off all the power. Including the fridge, the heating, the little clock on the microwave, the phone and stuff like that. I know I didn't. It doesen't really help that much the Earth as much as we hope, it's only one hour a year that we do this, and some people don't even know it's happening. The thught of that is making me sad...

OMG! I am a happy duckling! Although I'm sad because somebody won't talk to the hand. I've given y'alls (still not my thing) my reason for sadness but not for happiness... DEAL WITH IT!




OK, OK, I'll tell you! Well it's really not news but... I'M GOING AWAY ON VACATION TODAY! I feel sorry for all you cheesecakes sitting at home :P

Busy Me

OK, today is gonna be a very busy day so I may not get to post again. I have swimming then my BFF is coming over for a sleepover... And among that, I need to pack for vacation. I am just writing this briefly before I need to start getting ready for swimming. Well, the busyness begins.

Happy News! :D With a Touch of Sad :(

Sorry that in Shadow Walker I keep changing people's names. I usually do that while I'm writing a story. And sometimes I change whole chunks, so be patient with me. I'm nearing the time when I can't post stuff... Vacation! As I said earlier, it is a good time to catch up on all my older posts. I am happy because I have 10 followers! I'm sad because my friends are fighting :(
I am also happy because... NO SCHOOL FOR A WEEK! And... I'M GOING ON A YACHT! Not to brag... Just I'm ecstatic. What are you doing this March Break? Comment!

Shadow Walkers part 3

Talz. I liked my new name. There weren't a million other people named Talz. I suddenly understood the Shadow Walkers. They live to feel good. It feels good to have a unique name. They get more confident every step they take. I knew I was gonnal like it here. In their camp deep in the woods. I've always wanted to be a somebody, and here, among the Shadow Walkers, I am. A wave of exaustion ran over me. I lay down on my bed still wearing my dirty clothes. I fell asleep instantly.
The next morning I woke up late. the sun was high in the sky. "What's for breakfast?" I asked as I walked into the gathering place. I saw everyone was eating.
"You slept through breakfast," Fausto told me. "This is lunch."
"It's squirrel!" said Osk
"Squirrel!" I exclaimed "They're just cute, furry critters."
"Maybe to you." Said Elize "But to us it's food." I sat down on a log and was handed a chunk of meat. I took a small nibble from it... I prepared to taste something horrible but suprisingly, it tasted like chicken. I ate some more trying not to think about the fact that I was eating squirrel.
"Do you like it?" asked Fausto looking at my face, trying to read my expression.
"So-So." I told him.

GRUMP

GRUMP! I am upset. Don't ask questions. I guess this isn't really making up for yesterday... Whatever. But I promise I will post a long part of Shadow Walkers the second I get a chance. I May not get that in untill after March Break. You can catch up on all my other posts during that time. OK, well, I have homework. Again.

I'll Make It Up To You Tomorrow

I am really busy today. I have a poject I need to finish by tomorrow. I haven't worked on my story lately, I'll try, try, try to write part three tomorrow. OK. I have to go work.

YAY! It's the 9Th and I've not missed a single day! Again I may work on Shadow Walkers later. It's gonna be an AWESOME story! Once I'm done writing it in parts I will copy and paste it into one post so you can read it. Um... I am looking out my window. Here are things I see:

Shadow Walkers Part 2

X led me into the woods. We came to a small clearing, there were four crudely built cabins standing in the middle. "This one." X pointed to the one farthest from where we were standing. I waked over to it and propped open the door. It took my eyes awhile to adjust to the light. When they did, I saw six beds in neat rows against the walls, crudely built like the wole structure. There was clothing piled under the four near the door. I walked to the back of the room and sat down on an empty bed. I had nothing to unpack so I just sat there. After a few minutes the others came in. They were all boys. I guessed that two cabins were for girls and two for boys.
"Hi." One of them said shyly. He had short, jet black hair. "I'm Fausto."
"Zack," I told him. One by one all the others introduced themselves. Osk, Gordon and Elize. A knock came on the door.
"It's X." I opened the door. X stepped in. "One more thing." she said "You can't have a city name. We all changed our names. Your new Shadow Walker name is Talz."

Goofy-like

Today I may work more on Shadow Walkers. But not in this post. Googley eyes google like eyes. Ooh! I have a BRILLIANT idea! I forget it... Did you know that when you laugh too much you get a disease called LOLARIA. It's very un-serious! :D I have ten toes!!!!! !!!!! The exclamation marks represent toes and the space represents the starting of a new foot. Okay. I'm done goofing around. I think I will add on to Shadow Walkers now. Maybe not...

Shadow Walkers

OK. To get farther past my writers block I will make myself write a story:

I stood there. Silent. Listening. I'm not sure what I was listening for. I knew when I heard it I would know. An owl flew by hooting. Then all was silent again. I stood there in the darkness for a few more moments. Then I heard it. It was barley a sound, just a slight vibration in my ear. I turned my head slowly, scanning the forest. A small flicker of light showed to my left. I dropped into a crouch and made my way over there. The light was just a match, dropped on the ground. I looked up. A shadow was perched on the lowest branch of a nearby tree. It jumped down and walked into a ray of moonlight. It was a girl, about my age her features looked icy under the full moon. "I am X. I will teach you." she stated.
"X?" I asked surprised. It was an odd name. X glared at me. I decided not to question her any farther. All of a sudden I felt tiny in the forest, a small nobody. I knew nothing. The only instructions I got were to wait and listen. Clearly X was a somebody, the way she stood, the way she talked. Everything about her seemed superior. I felt as though I ought to bow down to her but I didn't want to make a fool of myself.
"Come." X ordered and walked into the darkness. I followed her quietly. Not daring to ask where we're going. After walking for what seemed for hours we stopped. The spot looked the same as the rest of this forest. X clearly didn't think so. She lit another match and held it up. I saw a few figures emerge from the shadows. In a way, they were like X. They had the same walk and all looked very superior. They all lit matches and lifted them up into the sky. More people appeared. They looked like me. Inexperienced. More matches were lit. After standing there for a few minutes silent. The matches went out. At that moment it was completely dark. A cloud had blocked the moon. I looked around, I could just make out the people and hear their breathing. all of a sudden X started to speak "Welcome to the Shadow Walkers. We live in these forests. You have been chosen to join us. Now you have two choices Zack. Stay and become one of us. Or go." I stood silent, hoping it was all a dream. I pinched myself. Ow. I considered my options. X and all the others had a look in their eyes. One that nobody in the city has. I wanted to be like them. Proud, superior and respected.
"I'll stay." I said "But, my parents.."
"I guess they never told you." Said X clearly disappointed "Well the truth is your parents died. We agreed that if you were able to find me you would become a Shadow Walker."
I processed the information. I thought about crying. But I wanna keep my cool, 15 year old guys who are starting a new life in the wild don't cry.

Classification

I have writers block. It's sad. I am determined to make this post at least lively. Well, not boring anyways. I'm also trying to make it longer than three lines, all of which say uninteresting things. There are people in this world, here is how I classify them:
Some people fall under the category of AWESOME! Those people are usually my closest friends or my family.
Some people fall under the category of SOMETIMES ANNOYING. Those people are the most common. They range from friends to people I've barely met. It's the most common group because it's hard to be perfect :)
And those other people are REALLY ANNOYING. Well, these are people I simply despise.
There are very few of those people so don't start thinking I'm full of hatred.
Also, don't ask me what category I classify you under. I keep ALL decisions private.

Dream

I rested my head on my feather pillow. I'll rest for a minute then get back to my homework. I told myself. I was tired but still had a ton of homework to do. My teacher Ms. Caldera is so strict. I felt myself growing sleepy. Maybe a nap couldn't hurt... I fell asleep. For some reason I remember my dream vividly.

I was locked in a classroom much like mine except there were no windows and the doors were missing. Ms. Caldera was walking back and forth at the front of the room. "Well, well well, look who we have here..." she was saying in a wicked voice. It was not the only wicked thing about her, she was wearing a floor length, long sleeve, black dress that looked like it was at least fifty years old and a tall pointy hat. It looked like she was dressing up as a witch for Halloween. She turned her back towards me and started making strange gestures with her hands. A hissing noise filled the room. Next thing I knew I was floating on a pink cloud. I felt a little sick. The image of a giraffe crossed my mind. Giggling, I imagined one licking my nose. Sure enough my nose felt damp. My head rolled back as I laughed. A fuzzy pink cloud blocked my vision, it was a turtle.

At that moment I woke up. It was dark out. Oh, Crap. I overslept. Ms. Caledra will be so mad.

That was fiction. I know I said I didn't have much time but I really wanted to write.

ZZZZZZZ (No, I'm Not Tired)

I am posting for today! Yay! Today at our school we had a "Dance-a-thon". It was more like a "sing-a-ton". We barely danced just jumped up and down and sang/screamed. I can't really do a long post today, things to do. But I will try to make it average. GENTIZZZZZZZ! I HIGHLY doubt that's a word. GENTIZZZZZZZ! It's fun to spell and say! GENTIZZZZZZZ! Ok. I'm done. Wait... GENTIZZZZZZZ! Now I am. PIZZA tastes good! I like words with Zs in them like PIZZA and all those other words. ZEBRAS RULE! Stripes are fun and ZEBRAS are stripy horses! Fashion-wise, polka dots are in, not stripes.

Hippos and Poo

I am oficially half obsessed with hippopotamuses. It's so fun to say! But, hard to spell. Right now seems like a good tome to say LOL so: LOLZ. I already said it before the colen but I needed to say it after too. I don't know why I added a Z into LOL. A girl in my class, not naming names, thinks I said I am obsessed with poo. I don't seem like a POOish person do I? :() I couldn't decide between a smiley face and a frowny face. I could have also done :)( but that just looks wierd. This is the second post for today because I posted then decided to say all this /\

I am so sorry that I haven't posted in FOREVER! I am slightly delayed but I will talk about the Olympics: Yay we have a world record for most gold EVER won! Totally makes op for not wining any in Calgary (well, sorta) and GO CROSBY! He is the reason we have the record. Did you see the closing ceremonies? When that actress lady was talking about how us Canadians say sorry a lot I was thinking 'OMG! That is so me!' I think I may be able to find it on YouTube: No. Never mind. Well, try to find it. Anyways... we got our report cards today. I am happy. I really can't believe school is already 2/3 over! I'm not gonna announce my marks for the whole world to see I just wanted to mention the report cards. I'm also not saying that the whole world looks at this blog, I'm saying they can. Wanna know what I am really, really, really, really, really, (I think you get the point...) excited for? March break. Not just because we get a break from school, but because I'm going on a YACHT! So my mom and her friend are renting it (along with the crew) and we're gonna sail the Virgin Islands for a week! I AM SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! Enough about me. Actually, enough for this post.
