Big Bowl of Drama - Gym

"WE HAVE GIME!" Chanted all the boys in the class. "AND IT'S FLOOR HOCKEY!"

Kristy looked annoyed. "Will you guys all be quiet?" She snapped. "Trying to read a book here!"

"No" said Houstin. "We have gime and it's floor hockey!" He started chanting again.

Kristy groaned and tried to block out all the noise.

Becky leaned towards her "It's so stupid how they say 'gime' instead of gym." she said glaring at Houstin. He was smirking.

"Line up to go to the gym!" Yelled Ms. Lornes. All the kids rushed to form a line at the door. Becky glanced in Allie's direction. Allie was pretending she didn't care but Becky could tell by her eyes she was hurt.



In the gym everyone sat on the circle in the middle of the floor. Ms. Lornes put them all into four teams. Kristy, Becky and Allie were all on the same team, team 3.

"Yay! We've got the best defence team!" Said Andrew. "Kristy and Allie!"

"Hey!" said Becky offended. Andrew shrugged and looked away.

"Teams 1 and 2 play first, team 1 is red team 2 is blue. Then teams 3 and 4 will play" announced Ms. Lornes. Kristy and Becky ran off to the steps to watch the game. Allie stalked towars the "V.I.P. box" which was pretty much a bench on it's side creating a small space in the corner. She crowded there with all the rest of the kids leaving only Kristy and Becky on the stairs. After a few minutes Ms. Lornes called "Switch!" Team 3 ended up with blue sticks.

"Look how short mine is!" Exlaimed Kristy holding up her stick. It was about half a foot shorter than all the other sticks.

"Wow." Said Houstin, who was their goalie, clearly amused.
